Handheld LCR Meter 879B

The 878B, 879B, and 880 handheld LCR meters are high-performance instruments designed for fast and accurate measurement of inductance (L), capacitance (C), and resistance (R). Featuring a 40,000-count display, these meters deliver precise results for a wide range of electronic testing and troubleshooting applications.

The 879B and 880 models expand measurement capability to include impedance (Z), Theta, DCR, and ESR, providing greater insight into component performance. The 880 model further offers advanced features typically found only in bench-top LCR meters, such as a 4-terminal measurement configuration, basic accuracy up to 0.1%, test frequencies up to 100 kHz, and selectable test signal levels and measurement rates.

Fast auto-ranging and intuitive measurement configuration make these meters easy to operate, while advanced functions such as data hold, Min/Max/Average recording, tolerance sorting, and relative mode enhance productivity. Measurement data can be continuously transferred to a PC via the USB interface, using either the supplied data-logging software or SCPI commands for custom applications.

Features:

  • 40,000-count high-resolution display
  • L, C, R measurements (Z for 879B & 880)
